Growth charts missing or incorrect
If growth charts appear empty, incomplete, or incorrect, the issue is usually related to how measurements were recorded.
This page lists the most common causes and quick checks.
No measurements recorded yet
Growth charts can only appear if measurements exist in the record.
If no measurements have been entered, the charts will remain empty.
Check that at least one measurement exists for:
- weight
- height or length
- head circumference
Measurements are typically recorded during consultations or entered in the Growth Table.
Measurements added after the visit
In CareFlow Kids, growth measurements are normally entered in the Growth Table before opening a visit.
If measurements were added after the visit was created, the growth analysis shown in the visit may not reflect them.
Possible solution:
- Open the Growth Table.
- Verify that the measurements are present.
- Reopen the visit to refresh the displayed growth information.
Incorrect measurement units
Growth charts depend on correct units.
Check that measurements were entered using the expected units:
- weight in kilograms
- height or length in centimeters
- head circumference in centimeters
Entering incorrect units can cause charts to display unrealistic values.
Measurement date incorrect
Growth charts rely on the date of measurement to place points correctly on the timeline.
If a measurement date is wrong, the chart may appear incorrect.
Check that:
- the measurement date corresponds to the visit date
- the child’s date of birth is correct
Growth chart still not appearing
If charts remain missing:
- verify that the correct patient bundle is open
- confirm that measurements exist in the growth table
- reopen the bundle or restart the application
When to contact support
If growth charts still appear incorrect after these checks, a support log may help diagnose the issue.
To generate a support log:
- Open Settings.
- Select Export support log.
- Share the log with support if requested.
